Red cabbage salad with oranges and walnuts


I missed you badly!

It has been more than a month without any post. I’ve got many complaints from my friends and family for not writing. Sorry, but I was a little bit busy with my danish classes, new blog and some other things.

I will have my first danish test after a few weeks. So I am preparing for it. Also one big surprise is coming on 1st of March. I can’t wait to show it to you!

And now the recipe … Red cabbage salad with oranges is perfect for this time of a year. It contains many vitamins, which is so important for our immune system.

Red cabbage salad with orange and walnuts

400 grams red cabbage, chopped
2 oranges, sliced
2 pears, sliced
50 grams of walnuts kernels
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. olive oil
freshly ground black pepper

Mix the cabbage, oranges, pears and walnuts. For the seasoning in a small bowl combine honey, lemon juice and olive oil. Pour it to the cabbage and fruits, and mix the salad. Season with salt and pepper.


Raudonojo kopūsto salotos su apelsinais ir graikiškais riešutais
400 g raudonojo kopūsto
2 apelsinų
2 kriaušių
50 g graikiškų riešutų
2 valg. š. medaus
1 valg. š. citrinos sulčių
2 valg. š. alyvuogių aliejaus
šviežiai maltų juodųjų pipirų

Kopūstą, apelsinus ir kriaušes supjaustykite. Sumaišykite su graikiškais riešutais. Nedideliame dubenėlyje sumaišykite medų, aliejų ir citrinos sultis. Užpilkite ant salotų ir išmaišykite. Pagardinkite druska ir pipirais.
